For the past several year I have struggled to stay healthy. I had all kinds of issues which was all due to a poor immune system. One little thing, I would be done for the count and struggled for a few days to get back to a normal routine. At the time I didn’t know what exactly was happening. From stepping outside to everything I ate affected how I felt. I finally decided to go see a doctor and they ran all kinds of test which turned out that I was allergic to literary everything. Several things had to change and everything had to happen all at once. I started getting 3 shot twice a week to help me combat everything that my body was processing. They also told me that I had to track everything I ate and how I felt after eating it. They showed me signs of how I can tell whether I couldn’t eat something and it was a long list. I also had to change all the products I used to a safer ingredient. This was very overwhelming for me to handle at once. I went to the grocery store to find something to eat and products I can use and left crying because there wasn’t anything. It took me awhile to process and understanding everything and to listen to my body how it responses. I’m now thankful for going through this because it has opened my eyes and I have never researched more about ingredients and chemicals in my life til this happened.
This past year, I decided to start doing something different and it has made a big difference in my life. I thought I would share what I started doing. I do want to make it clear that this is all based on personal experience and you may or may not get the same result. I am simply sharing what has worked for me based on my body and the research I have done for myself.
A major key component to staying healthy is having a great immune system. When your immune system is healthy, it helps fight off everything whether it’s bacteria that you come in contact with or food that your body is rejecting. Your immune system is what processes everything in your body. That’s the reason why it’s important to keep it healthy. The doctor and nurses I worked with kept telling me that my immune system was so bad hence why it was rejecting everything.
Here is what I started doing to help boost my immune system. (Note: I continued to get all my weekly shots until I had confirmed with the doctor and nurses that I could safely go with out it.) When I wake up after making my coffee, I start diffusing Thieves essential oil and Lemon essential oil. Thieves is great for boosting the immune system. I also made a roller which I call “my wellness” that has Thieves essential oil and Frankincense essential oil + carrier oil. I roll this on my back and bottom of my feet in the morning and before bed. I also started drinking 2 ounces of Ningxia Red which is full of antioxidant. Next, I switched all my products to Thieves from household cleaner, dish soap, hand soap, laundry soap, toothpaste, etc. By doing this it has help me make sure that the air I’m breathing in my home and the products I use on my skin as well as the surfaces I touch are all clean and chemical free.
To be honest I was very scared and skeptical to try all these at first but sometimes you get to a place where you are willing to try just about anything. For that I’m thankful for strangers who kept asking “have you tried essential oils” because of that I started researching. The reason why I got the kit was because I wanted to try the cleaning product and little did I know that it would change my daily routine. Little changes make big impact for your health.
