Happy Galentine’s Day

Did you know that Galentine’s Day is an actual thing? It is on February 13 and you get together with your gals and celebrate friendship. Its super girly which is why I absolutely love it. Pink is my favorite color so of course I love this idea. Usually its happens over brunch but my friends and I had ours in the evening and had tacos! You can totally get dressed just to eat tacos.

Here’s everything I did for our Galentine’s Day.

I created an invitation from Canva. They make it so easy to create things on there. They have several templates that you can choose from or even create your own from scratch. I also designed the placemat and name card from Canva.

One of my favorite things to do is decorate and the fact that I can decorate in pink made my heart so happy. So pink was everywhere. From flowers, plates, napkins, dessert, drinks, everything I could get pink in. We had a photo booth as well with of course pink flowers.

I got most of the decorations from Target including the love balloon and the Happy Galentine’s sign. The vases are from Hobby Lobby, the pink flowers are from Michael’s and the red and white carnations are from Market Street. I gave each of my gals chocolate as a gift.

Our menu was tacos and each one brought something for it. I took care of the desserts and drinks. For dessert I made strawberry jello cups, chocolate covered strawberries and I bought some mini sugar cookies. I also made the drink from Sprite, pineapple juice and pink lemonade. We definitely left the night in a sugar high.

Now it’s your turn. Call your gals and throw a Galentine’s Party. It can be simple or you can go all out. Just have fun with it!

My dress is from Amazon but I can’t find it so I linked some similar style.
